How can you dry dock your boat without the hassles of having to lift it?

The Sea Pen dry docking system is remotely controlled allowing you to sink the encloser, drive or back your boat in then have it float up around the hull. It protects your boat by making a skin against the hulls of your boat letting the water to slip away as the floats rise up around the outside. Our specialised design uses tightly woven netting inside the outer layer that allows the sea water to drain down inside quickly drying the sides of your boat and stopping fouling. You never need spend $$$ antifouling again!

The Sea Pen is constructed using a solid HDPE frame that we pump air in and out of to make it float or sink so that you can get you boat in and out of the pen. To enter the Sea Pen the frame of the pen sinks under the water's surface allowing it to fill with water. All of the rope matting and skin of the pen sink away, well clear of the engines of the boat, so you can drive all of the way into your dry berth.

The Sea Pen is the most revolutionary dry docking system on the market, dry docking your boat at water level yet keeping it completely dry all of the time. With your vessel moored in a Sea Pen you will never need organise antifouling your boat again. And there is a range of pens available for almost every berth type and boat. We can accommodate any vessel from 6 - 30 meters in length.

With your boat secured, air is pumped into the frame of the pen so that it floats up around the boat. The outside skin of the pen stops any water getting in, creating an isolated pool of water that the boat is floating in. The water pump located inside the pen then pumps all of the water out. As the water is pumped out, the skin and internal rope matting slowly shrink-wrap the hull and running gear of your boat. The woven rope mat is crucial to the boat being dry. It forms a barrier between the hull of the boat and the skin of the pen allowing water to seep down into the centre bilge cavity of the pen and create an air pocket that the boat floats on.

Your boat is now totally dry ....sitting on a layer of air.
